Re: single placement ... ultimately I don’t know for sure. But I think I’m recent years superstars usually put out longer albums because more tracks = more streams = more money. So the lead singer could be further down the record. If you’re a small artist, probably shorter records cause it’s hard to hold someone’s attention. So single more likely to be earlier in the album. Just speculating
